Which means business is not just about revenues and profits but keeping our land green, our communities healthy and our kids smart. In 1920, our founder Ardeshir Godrej gave a donation of Rs. 3 lakhs to the Tilak Swaraj Fund – then considered a princely sum – for upliftment of the downtrodden. His gesture of philanthropy grew into Godrej corporate policy. Giving back turned into our way of saying thank you to the 400 million Indians who are Godrej loyalists.
